Refund policy

Snufflo is a trading name of Mercado Cosmetics LLC ("Snufflo", "we", "us"). This policy explains what to do if something is wrong with your order, how change-of-mind returns work, and how refunds are paid.

Your consumer rights come first

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the consumer laws of many countries, including the Australian Consumer Law, the UK Consumer Rights Act and the consumer laws of the European Union. Under these laws, goods must, for example, be of acceptable quality, match their description and be fit for their purpose.

If a product fails one of these guarantees, you are entitled to a remedy, such as a repair, replacement or refund, in line with the law that applies to you. Under the Australian Consumer Law, for a major failure you can choose a refund or a replacement. You may also be entitled to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

These rights are not limited by the time frames or conditions in this policy. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or changes them.

Faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed items

If an item arrives damaged, is faulty, is not what you ordered or does not match its description, contact us as soon as you notice the problem. Please include your order number, a short description and a photo.

We will offer you a replacement or a refund. In most cases you will not need to send the item back. If we do need it back, we will arrange it and pay the return shipping.

Change-of-mind returns

If you change your mind, you can ask to return an item within 14 days of delivery. This is a voluntary policy, in addition to your legal rights.

To be eligible, the item must be unused, clean and in its original packaging. For hygiene reasons, grooming tools and other items that have been used on a pet cannot be returned for a change of mind. This does not apply if the item is faulty.

To start a return, email us your order number before sending anything back. We will reply with return instructions and the return address. Items sent without an approved return request, or sent to our legal correspondence address, cannot be processed.

You pay the cost of sending a change-of-mind return. The return address may be in another country, so please check the cost with your carrier first. We recommend a tracked service.

Statutory cancellation rights

In some countries, such as the United Kingdom and the member states of the European Union, consumers have a legal right to cancel an online order within 14 days of receiving it. If that right applies to you, you can use it in addition to this policy. Contact us within the cancellation period and send the item back within 14 days after telling us. We will refund the item and the standard delivery charge you paid, as the law requires. If the item has been handled more than needed to check it, we may reduce the refund by the loss in value, as the law allows.

Refunds

For faulty, damaged or incorrect items, we issue the refund once we have confirmed the problem. For change-of-mind returns and cancellations, we issue the refund once we receive the item back, or proof that you sent it, if that comes first.

Refunds are paid to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Your bank or card provider may take a few more days to show the refund.

For change-of-mind returns, we refund the price of the item. Delivery charges are refunded where the item was faulty, damaged or incorrect, or where the law requires it.

Cancelling an order

You can cancel your order free of charge before it is dispatched. Contact us as soon as possible with your order number. Once an order has been dispatched, the change-of-mind return or statutory cancellation rules above apply.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges for a change of mind. Please return the item and place a new order. If an item is faulty or incorrect, we will send a replacement if you prefer one.
